Fred HAN 曾任香港理工大學設計學院副教授（2010-2019），在進入學術(shù)界之前，他在全球著名的汽車、電子及科技領(lǐng)域中知名公司擔任工業(yè)設計師超過20年，其中包括美國通用汽車公司、美國福特汽車公司、飛利浦設計（香港）、深圳TCL公司和通力電子科技（中國）等。
科研方向：
針對用戶體驗的策略設計，輔助科技和針對老年人群的醫(yī)療保健產(chǎn)品。

科研項目：
1、針對神經(jīng)肌肉疾病患者及其他相關(guān)疾病患者使用的可調(diào)節(jié)式水下治療輔助衣；

3、針對帕金森綜合癥患者的輔助型水下康復椅。
