貢毅教授長期從事無線通信技術(shù)和通信理論方面的研究工作，在無線通信和通信信號(hào)處理領(lǐng)域的國際權(quán)威學(xué)術(shù)期刊和會(huì)議發(fā)表論文百余篇和國內(nèi)外專利30余項(xiàng)。2006年至2018年先后擔(dān)任國際權(quán)威學(xué)術(shù)刊物IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications 和 IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology 的編委?，F(xiàn)任廣東省先進(jìn)無線通信技術(shù)重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室（普通高校）主任和深圳市物聯(lián)網(wǎng)智能信息處理工程實(shí)驗(yàn)室主任。
